I believe it has always said that, but once you add the instasave to your card, it automatically comes off at the register once the item is scanned - and that is before you give them your coupons. So many stores seem to making up their own rules "per" store, so if you are unsure about yours, I would recommend trying it with one or two items just to make sure. Let me know what happens!!
