When it comes to the Venta LW44 Air Humidifier & Purifier All-in-One, first and foremost, I loved the fact that there are no filters. This means that I will never have to run around chasing replacement filters, which to me, is a huge plus! Secondly, because I live so close to the mountains, the air in my home is often very dry which causes my son to have frequent nosebleeds.

Not only does this particular model clean the air with its water filtration system, it also puts just the right amount of moisture in the air too. It was a breathe of fresh air, literally, that the Venta LW44 Air Humidifier & Purifier All-in-One does not leave that musty, mildew smell lingering throughout the rooms.

I keep it on almost 24 hours a day and if I do not bump into it accidentally, I rarely realize it is even on. This model humidifier & air purifier barely makes any sound at all, so you will probably not even realize it is on. For this reason, it’s also become very convenient to keep in my daughters room who is just shy of a year old and a very light sleeper.

Although I was very impressed with the technology that this system uses, I did notice that it worked much more efficiently in bedrooms than it did in larger sized areas. Unlike other models I’ve seen on the market, the Venta LW44 Air Humidifier & Purifier All-in-One uses water as the filter, which we all know water doesn’t clog up. I must admit though, it is somewhat disturbing to see all the dirt and dust that get filtered from the air.

Because this system uses water as the filter, the unwanted dirt remains in the tank as the clean water vaporizes. This is not the cleanliest of things to witness but as a mother, I would much rather clean the dirt out of the tank than know my children are breathing it in! On top of the amazing job the Venta LW44 Air Humidifier & Purifier All-in-One does in my home, it also comes with a full ten year warranty, which thankfully I have not needed to use yet, but I’m happy to know that if I should need it, it is readily available.

Be sure to check with the manufacturer because this is a limited warranty, however most parts are covered. I would recommend the Venta LW44 Air Humidifier & Purifier All-in-One to anyone who has children, allergies, asthma or smokes in their home. I promise it is the last model you will ever need to buy!
